We had a wonderful day at our summer party last week, it was a very special one for us this year as we celebrated our 20th birthday! We had a big cake to celebrate and a great rendition of ‘happy birthday’ too! There were around 150 adults and children enjoying the activities on offer, and thanks to the weather there were plenty of things to do both inside and outside in the garden this year.
Our thanks go to The Westwoods Centre in Northleach for such a great venue, we really appreciated being able to go out into the garden on such a sunny day. We had some brilliant crafting tables, including felting crafts with Sarah from ‘i-felt fantastic’, coloring for the younger ones and soft play from ‘Castles in the Sky’. Our thanks also to ‘Sportily’ who put on some great games for the older children in the garden. The kitchen was also full of treats, thanks to Tesco Cirencester for some great donations and to all our volunteers who brought along homemade treats for everyone to enjoy.
It really is all hands-on deck on special days like these and we’d like to thank everyone who came along to help create such a memorable day. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and to be able to celebrate our birthday with so many families and volunteers. Thank you!
