Thank you to everyone who came along to our AGM. Despite the hot weather, we had a great turnout and a wonderful mix of volunteers, staff, trustees, funders and local supporters. We heard from our Chair of Trustees, Richard Waller, who gave an overview of the year and talked about our plans for 2026/27. Pippa Seager, our Company Secretary, covered our Trustee re-elections and formalities of the meeting and Steve Kaufmann, Treasurer, gave an overview of our accounts and financial position. Towards the end of the meeting, we heard from one of our volunteers who shared their experience of volunteering with us, along with a Mum who has recently been supported with home visits. It was wonderful to hear firsthand of the impact of those visits and we are grateful they could both come along to share their experience with us all.
Our thanks must also go to Cirencester Baptist Church who moved our meeting at the last minute to a fully air-conditioned room – they saved the day and meant we all were able to come together and celebrate the year just gone in real comfort on a blisteringly hot day!
