We had a fantastic training session with our new and exisiting volunteers last week.  We welcomed representatives from our local Perinatal Mental Health Team and P3 charity to share their expertise and knowledge with us, keeping us up to date on their roles and how we can best work together to support families in the local area.

We were also fortunate to have one of our own volunteers talk to us about their experience of helping families facing financial pressures, it was great for us all to learn from her experiences and we came away with lots of practical advice and tips.

Liz, our Family Coordinator, really packed in a full agenda for the morning, making the most of us all being together.  Another highlight was a session with a Mum we have supported, and her volunteer, telling us all about the difference Home-Start Cotswolds has made to her life.  It really was an uplifting session, and a wonderful reminder of the impact our volunteers can have.

Thanks to everyone who came along to the session, it was wonderful to have everyone together for the morning and a great reminder that we have the very best of people working with us as volunteers!
