We are thrilled to have eight wonderful ladies on our Volunteer Preparation course, which is currently taking place in Bourton-on-the-Water. The course covers a wide range of topics, including: safeguarding; child development; confidentiality; and listening skills. A Health Visitor has also been to speak to them, and GDASS (Gloucestershire Domestic Abuse Support Service) came and talked to them about coercive control. Once the course ends, our Coordinators will start the process of matching the volunteers with families who will undoubtedly benefit greatly from their help and support.
