In February, we welcomed friends old and new to hear about the work we have been doing – and get to know each other over a cocktail and some delicious nibbles! Sam Lawson-King and the team at Roots + Seeds Kitchen Garden generously allowed us to use their beautiful venue and provided delicious canapes and drinks at no cost. We were delighted that those attending included Sabrina Dixon, Mayor of Cirencester and the High Sheriff of Gloucestershire, Henry Robinson DL. They are pictured below left with Debbie, one of our fantastic volunteers, who talked to the guests about the benefits of her role helping families. The event was also featured in Cotswold Life magazine and we hope will generate support and raise awareness of how much our amazing volunteers are the roots of everything we do!
