Our sincere thanks go to Amy and the Cirencester Singers for the most festive of evenings on 4th December, it was such a lovely start to the Christmas season. Held at The Parish Church in the centre of Cirencester, the Cirencester Singers hosted their annual Christmas concert. The Church was full to bursting and we were treated to a brilliant evening of festive songs and carols. Amy had brought together a number of choirs and ensembles, including children from the Cirencester Singers junior choir and Stratton School. Little Donkey, Last Christmas and O Holy Night were our particular favourites!
The choir chose Home-Start Cotswolds as their charity to support and we were on hand to talk to audience members about our work. It was lovely to see some of our exisiting volunteers and supporters in the choir and the audience, as well as lots of new faces. We had some great conversations and were fortunate enough to raise just under £150 in donations on the evening. We are awaiting a total on the amount raised overall, but feel so fortunate to have been chosen by the choir. Thank you to everyone involved for the support and for such a special festive evening.
