Do you have a baby aged 0-6 months? After another successful term of our Baby & Me and Reconnect groups, we have now released the dates for groups starting in early May.
Baby & Me is designed for parents and their babies aged 0-6 months. Over the course of 8 sessions, we cover topics such as sleep, feeding, play, communication and first aid. It’s also a chance to meet other parents from your local area and share experiences. We work hard to ensure our groups are always friendly, relaxed and welcoming, with a cup of tea and biscuit on hand. Starting in May for the summer term, we will be holding Baby & Me sessions in Tetbury, Fairford and Moreton-in-Marsh. It’s free to attend but please note that places are limited and must be pre-registered (these aren’t drop in sessions). If you’d like to find out more, please email the office, telling us the age of your child and the location you are interested – we can then send you our simple registration form.
Here’s what one Mum said after attending Baby & Me last term… “Before joining the group, I was absolutely overwhelmed by the amount of information available online, so chose to not look at any at all in fear of doing the wrong thing. These bite size chunks of guidance have been so helpful, and much more manageable. I now feel educated rather than overwhelmed, and am being a better mother due to that help. The group also gave me 90 minutes a week where it wasn’t just the two of us. With other mums, babies and the wonderful Janette to chat with and even hold my baby, it gave me a chance for my internal stress level to reset so I could recharge for my baby.”

- TETBURY: Thursdays, 10.30am – 12.00pm, 7th May – 2nd July (not 28th May, half term)
Reconnect is another of our groups, for Mums with children aged 0 – 2 years. The group is designed for Mums who are experiencing challenges to their mental health, and may be experiencing challenges such as postnatal depression, anxiety or lonlieness. This group runs for 10 weeks with a creche alongside it (in the room next door), giving Mums the opportunity to have some down time and focus on the activities on offer. It’s a welcoming and supportive group, one Mum recently said…“The group has been so helpful just to have some time for myself and not having to worry about anything else outside of the room, it felt like a breath of fresh air coming in to group and definitely helped with taking the stress away, even for those two hours”.
