We were delighted to be nominated as one of two charities benefitting from a recent event – a Land Rover Defender Christmas convoy! We’re excited to report that £750 has been raised for us so far by catering company ‘The Wild Oven’ at an amazing event last Saturday. The Wild Oven specialises in delivering delicious feasts from their trusty Land Rover Defender and so came up with the idea of a Christmas event for other Defender owners. An amazing 50 Defenders made their way through North Cotswolds towns on Saturday 13th December, creating a real spectacle for those lining the streets. The Defenders were lit up and decorated; there was even one converted into a gingerbread house!
This was a great feat of organisation, and we are so grateful to Zoe, Keira and the whole team who put the event on. We’d like to take the opportunity to send our sincere thanks to The Wild Oven for choosing us as one of their charities to support and to congratulate them for putting on such a great event.
