On Wednesday 7th May 2025, please join us at 9.30am for a circular walk through beautiful private countryside, starting and finishing at the Old Gore Barn, Fosse Cross, GL54 4BZ. This year marks our 20th anniversary, so we are particularly excited to see the return of our ‘Hike for Home-Start’ fundraiser.
The walk will take approximately two hours (with no steep hills) and we have permission to walk across land that is not usually accessible to the public. Our thanks go to Calmsden Farms for access to a beautiful and ‘exclusive’ walking route this year. We are also delighted that, as well as generously donating their venue for the event, Yard Space are providing a delicious, two-course lunch, cooked by the chefs at the Old Gore. You can choose from two ticket options according to how long you’d like to stay:
Walk + Refreshments = £15 each (9.30am -12pm, approx finish) **SOLD OUT** (enquire with the office for return tickets)
Walk + 2-Course Lunch = £30 each (9.30am – 2pm, approx finish) **SOLD OUT** (enquire with the office for return tickets)
Please note we have limited numbers of lunch places, so please book early to avoid disapointment. Tickets need to be bought in advance (see below for Paypal checkout options). Once you have purchased tickets you will be added to our list of walkers and emailed more information nearer the time from our office email address (office@home-start-cotswolds.org.uk). If you have any dietary requirements, we kindly ask that you contact us at our office email to let us know in advance.
Please spread the word and bring friends. Dogs are welcome but will need to be kept on a lead at all times and won’t be able to stay in the barn whilst lunch is served. If you come on your own but would like to walk with others, we can introduce you to fellow walkers on the day.
