Thank you to everyone who joined us at our AGM yesterday. We had a great turn out and it was wonderful to be able to report on the successes, challenges and results of the past year. We were grateful to have representatives from many areas of our work at the meeting, including referrers, funders, volunteers, the local council, community groups, businesses and staff.
We were also very pleased to welcome Rhian, one of our volunteers, who shared her experience of supporting a local family. It was interesting to hear about the support she’d been able to offer through her home visits, as well as the positive impact volunteering had on her, as a volunteer too. It was a wonderful reminder to everyone in attendance of the difference our work at Home-Start can make.
Our AGM also gives the opportunity for Members to vote and elect Trustees. Claire Holmes, Pippa Seager and Felicity Peake were voted in as new Trustees. We’re excited for them to officially join the team, and we’d like to thank them for stepping forward to offer their expertise and knowledge to Home-Start Cotswolds.
Carla, our Chair of Trustees officially stood down, after two years in the role. We are so grateful for Carla’s time, enthusiasm and commitment to the Chair role, and we are really pleased that she’ll be staying on as a Trustee moving forward. Richard Waller was officially announced in the role of Chair, Richard has been a Trustee with us for the past 6 years and we are delighted that he’ll be taking on this role.
If you weren’t able to join us but would like to know more about what we’ve been up to over the past year, our Annual Report 24/25 is available to read (along with our Accounts) here.
