On Monday 10th September, we were thrilled to welcome Dame Janet Trotter, Lieutenant of Gloucestershire, to Cirencester, where she presented us with our Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. Dame Janet praised our ‘high calibre’ volunteers – obviously this includes our Trustees – and told the assembled guests that the panel were impressed by the parent-to-parent aspect of our family support and by the high level of satisfaction expressed by our volunteers. We are very proud that our volunteers have been recognised for all their hard work – we couldn’t do what we do without them!
